Washington, DC. -- WIRE -- May 8, 2007 -- eZee, Inc, an emerging mobile solutions company developing and launching first of its kind contact-less mobile handset products and services for the mass consumer market offering true “Freedom of Choice”, today announced that the company's chief technology officer and co-founder, C. Enrique Ortiz, will speak at JavaOne in San Francisco, CA.

JavaOne is the world's largest Java related conference held annually since 1996 and put on by Sun Microsystems to discuss Java technologies primarily among Java developers. JavaOne is held at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. Mr. Ortiz will serve as a debater during the keynote address by Padmasree Warrior, Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer for Motorola. Her session, titled "Platform Disturbia" is scheduled for 8:30-9:15 a.m. Pacific Time in San Francisco, CA on Thursday, May 10th.

C. Enrique Ortiz is a long-time mobile technologist, developer, and writer who most recently founded eZee, Inc, a mobile solutions provider where he also serves as CTO. eZee is creating products in the mobile commerce and media space. Additionally, Ortiz is the founder of the Mobile Monday Austin Chapter and an active member of the Java Community Process, and has been a member of various Java ME expert groups, including MIDP2 and MIDP3 and many others.

Enrique is an active author of books on mobile computing and Java as well as articles on the same topics published all over the Web. He is an active mobile industry observer and blogger (Mobility Weblog) where opinions and development tips on mobile can be found. Further, he an adviser to various mobile startup companies and the owner of Artemis Wireless Werks, a mobile consulting company that has helped dozen of companies deliver their mobile strategy. Ortiz was previously employed in engineering and management positions by AGEA, Aligo, and IBM.
